Dr. Jason Woods

MD

Dr. Woods graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, GA, and the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Memorial University Health Systems in Savannah, GA. Dr. Woods is board certified in internal medicine and has been practicing in Macon for over 25 years. He and his wife, Trisha have three children. Dr. Woods’ goal is to provide comprehensive medical care for both the body and mind.

Kim Johnson

DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C

Kim practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She is an accomplished 32-year nursing professional with significant experience in psychiatric and family medicine. Kim obtained her Master of Family Nursing Practice, Post-Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Georgia Southern University. She is a Double Eagle! She is certified to practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Kim teaches in the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner doctoral program at Augusta University and is a University of Georgia Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Fellow. Her primary interests include easing the burden and stigma of psychiatric illness and provision of psychiatric care within the medical model. Her skill lies in psychiatric medication management in concurrence with chronic and acute illness.

 

Kristen Vaughn

DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Kristen is a proud “Triple Samford Bulldog” who graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing—Family Nurse Practitioner, and Doctor of Nursing Practice with an Educator Concentration, all from Samford. Kristen has experience providing comprehensive healthcare with a focus on addressing the root causes of health issues to promote overall wellness and vitality. Kristen is a Macon native, a graduate of Covenant Academy, and is married to her husband, Chandler. She is particularly passionate about empowering individuals across all stages of life to make lifestyle changes that foster long-term health and well-being.

Byerly Vaughn Ham

FNP

Byerly graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, with a Bachelor of Science, Middle Georgia State University in Macon with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA, with a Master of Science in Nursing. She has over a decade of experience in internal medicine and cardiology. Byerly is from Macon, a graduate of Stratford Academy, and has two daughters with her husband, Kurt. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care by specializing in preventive care, emphasizing lipid management, and improving overall health through a combination of traditional medicine and secondary risk factor reduction strategies. By focusing on the prevention and early detection of health issues, Byerly works closely with patients to manage and reduce the risks associated with cardiovascular disease and other chronic conditions.

Erica Girardeau

AGACNP

Erica graduated from Middle Georgia State University in Macon with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing in Adult Gerontology Acute Care. She is a Forsyth, GA native. Erica and her husband, Michael, reside in Forsyth with their two children. She has over a decade of experience in intensive care, cardiology, and primary care. Erica specializes in caring for older patients and managing complex chronic conditions. She is dedicated to building relationships with her patients to understand their unique needs and goals and to improving overall health outcomes.
